A delegation from The Chinese University of Hong Kong visited our Faculty

On October 30, 2025, representatives from the Faculty of Science of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) visited our Faculty. The delegation, led by Prof. Hoi Ying WONG, was welcomed by Dean Prof. Imre Kacskovics, together with Vice Dean Prof. László Túri and the faculty members and researchers of the Institutes of Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, and Biology. Following presentations introducing the two faculties, a substantive professional discussion took place on CUHK’s internationalization strategy, scholarship opportunities available for European PhD and university students, as well as English-taught study programs. The program concluded with an engaging lecture by Prof. Wong entitled “Machine Learning and Data-Driven Decision-Making in Financial Applications.”
