In my research, I examine the characteristics of Mediterranean cyclones (cyclones originating in the Mediterranean region), with particular emphasis on changes in their paths and intensity, and the extreme weather events they cause in the region and the Carpathian Basin. The analysis uses values from the ERA5 reanalysis database and simulations of the latest global climate models (CMIP6) for the historical period and for the future.
