Anna Erdei received the European Complement Network's ECN Medal

The European Complement Network (ECN), the association of European researchers in the field of the complement system, organized their 19th European Meeting on Complement in Human Disease conference in Lübeck, between 2nd and 6th of September, 2024. During the conference, the association awarded the prestigious ECN Medal to Anna Erdei, professor emerita and former head of department of the Department of Immunology at ELTE, for her contributions to the research of the complement system and her service of the scientific community. Anna Erdei is also a former board member of the ECN and the former councillor of the International Complement Society.

"The European Complement Network (ECN) honors scientists from Europe or scientists who have worked for a long time in European laboratories for their life time achievement in the field of complement. The prestigious ECN Medal is awarded to respective scientist during the ECN meetings."
