ClimEx-PE Promo Film Premiered at CHARM-EU Annual Conference 2024
This film features the project’s principal investigators (Judit Mádl-Szőnyi, José F. García Martínez, Katrin Merfeld, Patrick Morrissey, Ignacio Cazcarro) discussing the project’s objectives, challenges, pilot areas, involved parties, and the potential applications of the Nature-based Managed Aquifer Recharge (NaBa-MAR®) approach.
The film provided an in-depth look at the project’s efforts to address climate challenges through transdisciplinary research and innovative solutions. In addition to the project’s principal investigators, the film also featured external stakeholders including a farmer (Ferenc Szépe) from a drought-stricken area, who shared his experiences and highlighted the severe impact of water scarcity on the local population. This personal account underscored the urgent need for effective water management solutions.
The closing thought message of the film, delivered by Judit Mádl-Szőnyi, encapsulated the essence of the ClimEx-PE project:
“This task requires serious innovative thinking, but the results are quite promising”
We would like to thank all attendees of the CHARM-EU Annual Conference for joining us for this special premiere and gaining insights into the groundbreaking work being done by the ClimEx-PE team.
