Undivided Teacher Training
ELTE’s Faculty of Science offers training for prospective teachers in six fields: biology, physics, geography, chemistry, mathematics, nature and environmental studies.

Our program reflects on the fact that today we are living through the ‘revolution of natural sciences’. Numerous scientific discoveries have tried to answer questions of the present and the future concerning technical development, sustainable growth, and a better understanding of our environment. We are trying to explain the World: the entirety of our environment. With this, we are transferring the knowledge needed to understand and process the natural and social events surrounding us – from the Big Bang to currency changes. With our modern and high-quality courses, we aim to train broad-minded and well-informed teachers.

We would like to train natural science teachers who can participate in the educational, nurturing, pedagogical research, planning, and development tasks in all levels of education. The well-known current deficit of natural science teachers guarantees the successful employment of prospective teachers in both elementary and middle schools.
