Related departments

The Tata Geological Garden has been operating as a designated geological nature reserve covering 3.5 hectares since 1953. It plays an important role in scientific education as well as in the training of Hungarian geologists, cartographers, geophysicists, meteorologists, geographers, and environmental protection specialists. Due to its natural characteristics, its educational activities primarily focus on practical training, offering excellent opportunities for learning geology, botany, and materials science during study trips and field exercises.
