The Scientific Students' Assosiation (TDK) movement is the most extensive and comprehensive talent development form in Hungarian higher education, serving as a platform for self-education, elite training, and the cultivation of scientists. Most talented students' first scientific experiences are born in the stimulating atmosphere of TDK workshops, which form around mentors, supervising teachers, and researchers.

Students participating in the Scientific Student Circle movement compete every two years at the National Scientific Student Conference (OTDK), organized by the National Scientific Student Council (OTDT).
