Master's Programme in Environmental Science

The program of Environmental Sciences is a complex interdisciplinary research module with environmental awareness. The main goal is that environmental scientists can identify and address environmental impact assessment, environmental certification etc. The graduate researcher should be able to participate in landscape rehabilitation, environmental protection and nature conservation and also should be able to solve environmental problems related to energy resources, engage in environmentally friendly materials and environmentally friendly technologies. It is important to apply "green chemistry" approach and learn environmental technologies. Environmental science in many cases overlaps with all of the classical sciences. This is important because all departments of the faculty have expertise in all areas of natural sciences; notable books and periodicals are available, also major infrastructure and laboratory conditions. This allows keeping up-to-date with new scientific results.
