The Faculty of Science offers its outstanding talents the opportunity for professional development early in their studies through Eötvös József College and Bolyai College. In these communities, small, advanced, and often interdisciplinary courses serve to impart knowledge elements that are scarcely or not at all covered in the undergraduate curriculum. From the beginning, there are opportunities for organizing conferences and publishing works from workshop activities, and students can also gain international experience through exchange programs and conferences.

The excellent work of the Scientific Students' Assosiation at ELTE Faculty of Science, built on great traditions, is demonstrated by the outstanding number of submitted papers and the proportion of achieved placements in national competitions. However, the significance of these student circles is not only supported by the results achieved at conferences but also by the opportunity they provide for belonging to a professional community and engaging in collaborative work for all interested students.
