My research topics are manifold. They encompass complex systems and networks, the science of evolution, cognitive science - and, from a different perspecitve, philosophy of scence, where my interest is mainly historical (e.g. positivism), of the modern topics I am interested mostly in the problems of induction and in causality. These several topics are connected by evolutionary thought. I have a PhD in biology and a DSc in philosophy, am a professor of Eötvös University (ELTE).
