Climate change is in the focus of my researh. Both the past tendencies and the projected future climate conditions are analysed. For this purpose, different observation-based and reanalysis datasets and regional climate model simulations are used, therefore, past experiences and potential future changes are being evaluated as well. The investiagations focus mainly on the Caprathian Region and Europe. The effect of climate change on different sectors (e.g. runoff conditions) is also relates to my interests, which can help to build adaptation strategies.
