Main research areas
hydrogen storage
Different alloys and composites are able to absorb hydrogen under certain circumstances. These materials can be used to store hydrogen. Based on my earlier work the microstructure of these materials have a significant influence on the hydrogen storage properties (e.g. capacity, kinetics).
Keywords
Semiconductor thin films
Wide bandgap semiconductors, such as Ga2O3, or AlN have numerous possible applications in the field of electronics and optoelectronics. The focus of my research is on the synthesis of these materials by sputtering and the study of their structural and optical properties. The relationship between the preparation conditions and the strucutre/optical properties is also studied.
