Main research areas
High energy heavy-ion physics, femtoscopy
My research is connected to the field of heavy-ion physics, specifically to femtoscopic or quantumstatistical correlations. Quantumstatistical correlations of particles created in high-energy heavy-ion collisions can uncover the space-time structure of the particle emitting source (the quark-gluon-plasma), and may also shed light on the nature of the quark-hadron phase transition.
