Forest ecology

My research focuses on developing indicators and assessment systems of forest biodiversity as well as conducting forest ecological and -natrualness studies. Additionally, I investigate bark ecology, evolution, and morphology of woody species, with particular attention to the driving forces shaping bark macromorphology and the ways these characteristics can be scientifically described.
