AGCO Foundation Scientific Scholarship Call for ELTE Faculty of Science Students in Sustainable Agriculture

The ELTE Faculty of Science Research and Industrial Relations Centre, in cooperation with the AGCO Foundation, announces a scientific scholarship call for students of the ELTE Faculty of Science.

The aim of the call is to support student research projects related to scientific questions in sustainable agriculture. Supported research may address, among others, topics related to soil and water use, biodiversity, circular agricultural solutions, agricultural statistics, climate adaptation, and smart or data-driven agricultural innovations.

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of USD 2,000. Up to 10 students may be awarded funding.

Who can apply?

Applications may be submitted by students enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s programmes, or in undivided teacher training programmes, at the ELTE Faculty of Science. Applications may be submitted individually or jointly by 2–3 students.

The research must be carried out under the supervision of a lecturer or researcher affiliated with the ELTE Faculty of Science. The research period is seven months, with completion by 31 December 2026.

How to apply?

The application must include a research plan (using the official template ) of at least two pages and a short CV. Applications may be submitted in either Hungarian or English.

Applications will be evaluated by a committee composed of representatives of the ELTE Faculty of Science and AGCO Hungary.
