Our research focuses on the analysis of incorrect solutions to mathematical problems and the process of mathematical error detection, with a particular emphasis on combinatorial problems. We investigate how pre-service mathematics teachers identify and evaluate the correctness of mathematical arguments, and how the analysis of errors contributes to the development of self-reflection, critical thinking, a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts, and problem-solving skills.
