Main research areas
Theoretical investigation and applications of numerical methods
She deals with the numerical solution methods of atmospheric models (including Eulerian air pollution models and shallow water models). She also examines the theoretical foundations and practical applicability of operator splitting, a useful tool for solving such complex model problems. Her further research topic is the theoretical and computer investigation of Richardson extrapolation, which increases the efficiency of time integration schemes.
