Mathematical modelling of immunochemical reactions

I work on the mathematical modeling of immunological applications and the statistical analysis of the resulting experimental data. We investigate a method based on a novel analytical approach developed by immunologists to quantify polyclonal antibody reactivity. The experimental data are fitted to the product of two generalized logistic functions, allowing us to estimate the antibody reactivity of two immunoglobulin classes simultaneously. The resulting parameters provide universal chemical units, contributing to the standardization of serological assays, quality control of antibodies, and a more accurate mapping of antibody-antigen interactions.
