The focus of my research is to explore the taxonomic diversity of prokaryotic communities adapted to extreme environmental circumstances, their potential metabolic interactions and their role in geomicrobiological cycles. My research involves the study of the microbiota of habitats with extreme chemistry, salinity, temperature and multiple extremities, both local and distant.
