My ongoing projects are focused on the design and synthesis of anticancer small molecules with special regard to their mechanism of action, and SAR studies providing feedback for the structural fine-tuning of the molecular architecture, generating such leads that might assist in finding ways for the development of novel therapeutic agents with enhanced efficacy, a widened therapeutic window and improved drug-like properties.
