Main research areas
My main research area is the interaction of different driving forces in groundwater flow systems studied by numerical modelling. Investigating the dynamic equilibrium of the coupled topography-, temperature- and salinity-driven groundwater flow in synthetic and real hydrogeological environment.
Numerical modelling and sensitivity analysis of direct-current probes used in borehole geophysics. Determination of sonde coefficient of borehole tools with finite geometry, computation of response function of tools in the present of borehole mud, layer boundary and shoulder beds. Analyzing of the thin layer effect and calculating pseudo-geometrical factor. Determining the resistivity logs measured by borehole probes in synthetic and real geological formations.
