I wrote my doctoral thesis on the analysis of the school-leaving examination, an area that continues to be a focus of my interest. 

Other areas in which I enjoy researching:

- The use of digital tools in the teaching of mathematics;

- curricular aspects of mathematics teaching;

- the development of statistical literacy.
