volcano geomorphology and morphometry of volcanic areas of Earth

For more than 30 years, my domestic and international research work has focused on extinct or dormant volcanoes in the Carpathian Basin, and on other, mainly active volcanoes on Earth (e.g. Santorini, Southern Italy, Central Andes, USA). Methodologically, they are at the interface of volcanogeology and geomorphology, using a wide range of tools from these two overlapping fields. I am primarily interested in the paleo-volcanological, paleo-geographical reconstruction of the study area, which I aim to clarify by geomorphological (mainly using digital elevation model/DEM) and field volcanological studies, corroborated by radiometric dating, and paleomagnetic, structural geological, sedimentological and geochemical analyses.
