I have worked mostly with canids and pigs exploring topics related to animal-human interactions, behavior, and welfare. My field of expertise is animal-human communication and social interactions. Taking a comparative perspective, my research aims to identify the factors influencing the display of communicative behaviors across different species.  I am also very interested in potential indicators of positive emotions in different species.
