With the help of the WRF numerical model system, numerical studies can be carried out on different spatial and temporal scales, from cities with a scale of a few hundred meters to weather systems with a scale of several 10 km, on a daily or climate level. With the help of these, our environment and the response of weather phenomena to the impact of climate change can be better understood.

The model is primarily run on the ELTE Atlasz cluster, as it requires significant computing capacity.
