Our research focuses mainly on the chemical and biological applications of Mössbauer-spectroscopy. Current research fields: i) structural studies of biologically relevant iron compounds; ii) investigations of synthetic and natural iron fertilizers; iii)role of nanosized iron-oxides in plant physiology; iv) study of bacterial iron homeostasis. Distribution of inorganic nutrients in plants with the help of XRF methods.
