My research investigates the ecology of tick-borne zoonotic diseases, with particular emphasis on the role of reptiles as potential reservoir hosts. I analyze interactions between native reptile species and ticks in the natural cycles of Borrelia, Rickettsia, and Anaplasma pathogens from epidemiological and conservation perspectives.
