Main research areas
Analytical method developments for the characterization of bio- and drug molecules, and various carbohydrates. Chiral separation of drugs. Natural product research.
I am a pharmacist and academic researcher focusing on the structural characterization, interaction, and biological activity of carbohydrates. My work involves developing advanced analytical methods for the study of cyclodextrins, human milk oligosaccharides, and glycosaminoglycans. I also explore the enantiomer separation of small drug molecules using capillary electrophoresis. A key area of my research is the structural elucidation of natural products, primarily by NMR spectroscopy. Overall, my aim is to deepen molecular-level understanding of bio- and pharmaceutical compounds through state-of-the-art analytical approaches.
