My research aims at investigating the formation of planets and planetary systems in the paradigm of the core accretion scenario. Particularly, I investigate the formation of terrestrial and giant planets in pressure maxima of protoplanetary discs. The most important aim of my research is to develop a general code that incorporates gas and dust dynamics, growth of planetary cores by accretion of the disc's gaseous and solid material, and planetary dynamics due to disc-planet and planet-planet interactions.
