The focus of my research is the cyclostratigraphical and astrochronological investigation of sedimentary formations, primarily concerning mesozoic formations. Thanks to the cyclostratigraphic studies, we can obtain data on the former sedimentary system and the paleoclimate, while a high temporal resolution can be achieved with the help of astrochronology, so we can determine the duration of the studied strata or certain events. Using available age data from other methods, absolute dating is also possible. I mainly perform my work by examining geochemical datasets and using the Acycle software.
