My main research field covers the analysis of approximation methods applied for ordinary and partial differential equations. I prove the convergence of operator splitting procedures, Magnus methods and exponential integrators in the framework of functional analysis, by using the results in operators semigroup theory. My theoretical results are illustrated by numerical experiments for problems playing an important role in applications. I pay special attention to delayed differential equations.
